Passionate, compassionate, a writer, intelligent and sexy. And, by my moving to L.A. in the late 90′s, I let her get away. Not to say if I’d stayed we would still be together, but…like one of the Baldwin sisters on “The Waltons” longing for Ashley Wentworth, I still think of her occasionally, with fondness.

I used to hang on to all my books, but I just buy too bloody many of them. I can’t seem to help myself. So I’m going to put them back out in the universe and see what kind of karma that brings me…Although books I really love, I keep!

And you should absolutely apply for any book you like in the future — I’m happy to send it to England — you just have to swear that you’ll love me forever and buy every single thing I ever write. (I am of course kidding. Sort of. Not really. But kidding.)

Good grief. I couldn’t even begin to think of giving away any books that I love; I’d get rid of the bed and buy more bookcases before that happened! I’m reluctant to even part with books that I wasn’t keen on, just in case a reread improves them.

I shant apply for any of the books, because I doubt postage to England would be fun, but this whole shebang is very cool.
